Built by C&S Construction of McCall, the home has a Structured Cable system including fiber Optic Cable distribution, multi zone whole house audio, DSS and HDTV wiring and Security Systems. Communications are handled by a 16 station 6 line KSU telephone system. Speaker phones in every room act as the intercommunications system. A Call box at the front door rings all the telephones in the home. Video wiring is in place for a Camera picture of the front porch area to display on all of the Televisions in the Home.
The Security System may be accessed from any telephone in the house or in the world. The Security system has the capability of remote control of lights, door locks, garage door opener, heating and cooling thermostat settings, and arm/disarm of the security systems. Thus the Homeowner has complete control of the system and the home from a cell phone or any phone any where. A custom designed thermostat system allows the Owner to call to the cabin from any remote telephone or from his cell phone, and set the heating up to a comfortable 70 degrees prior to arriving at the cabin. A thermostat setback temperature keeps the home at 55 degrees while no one is there saving on heating costs.
Communications by cell phone, or any phone to the alarm system microphones and speakers allow two way discussion.
